NaNoWriMo is Writing Forward

I’ve been writing frenetically the first 14 days of November and have passed the 40K mark by 500 plus words.

The word count is expanding and the story developing. The speed written first draft of a novel without a single editing brake in the works.

Come Dec. I’ll start the edits. In the meantime, I’m pressing forward, writing the linear style of chronicles. Yes, this is the second in the series of books about Luc Beaumont, tween angel. He’s got issues. Cute as a button and gifted beyond measure.

He struggles with his self image, prejudice, accomplishments that he feels he must hide behind ignorance and abilities he cannot proclaim are his, without retribution and recrimination. Pretty much like many tween/teenagers today.
